Range Limits

DNS Firewall handles a vast amount of DNS requests in real-time. Implementing strategic limits on certain key features is essential for efficient filtering and lightning-fast response time. Here's an outline of these limitations:

Domain Management

FeatureLimitDescription
Allowed Domains
  • A maximum of 5000 domains can be present in allowed domains list at any given point
  • Up to 250 domains can be uploaded in bulk in one go
Allowed domains are exception domains that will be accessible even though they may be blocked by some policy in DNS Firewall
Blocked Domains
  • A maximum of 5000 domains can be present in blocked domains list at any given point
  • Up to 250 domains can be uploaded in bulk in one go
Blocked domains are specific domains that might need to be blocked in addition to existing policies
Internal Domains
  • A maximum of 5000 domains can be present in internal domains list at any given point
  • Up to 250 domains can be uploaded in bulk in one go
Internal domains are used to indicate domains internal to an organization
